College Fairs are a great way to ‘see’ several colleges in one place. Each fair hosts several colleges at once. Students can walk from booth to booth and speak to admissions reps from all over the country. We recommend students come dressed appropriately with their college resumes in hand. Students, be sure to ask for a business card from each school representative you meet. Afterwards, send a personal thank you note thanking them for their time. If the college ends up being one of your top choices, a thank you note will go a long way in demonstrating your interest in the school.
Go with a list of must see schools and hit those first so you don’t run out of time. Be sure to come with a list of questions to ask the representative. Here are a few questions to get you started. For a complete list, call us at 630-907-9830.
