Here’s some tips.
1. Be Yourself. Colleges are looking for students who will bring something to their campus. Don’t be afraid to show your personality when writing your essay.
2. Be Concise. Admissions officers read hundreds of essays. Be sure to make every word count.
3. Write Powerfully. Use proper grammar and make your essay interesting to read.
4. Brainstorm, Write, Rewrite and Review. Brainstorm your topic. Once you select a topic, write your essay, edit your essay and have someone review your essay.
5. Have Fun.
