Volunteer – Volunteering is a great way to spend some time giving back to your community. Plus, you might find an area that interests you as a career choice and you’ll make some contacts that can help you with references and potential job opportunities. Work – A job is a great way to explore potential career choices. Ask your neighbors and friends parents for job opportunities in your area.
Follow Your Passion – Do you like music, business, art, medicine? Find organizations in your area that caters to your interests and spend some time with them. Job shadow, volunteer, offer to work for free. You’ll never know who you’ll meet.
College Essays – It’s a great time to start on those essays. You’ll thank yourself later when school starts if you’ve already got a head start!
