With so many colleges, careers, and high school life going on; it can be difficult and overwhelming to find a career and college best for you. Our College Planning Counselors strive to help you answer the three most important questions when it comes to colleges: Who are you?, Where are you going?, and How are you going to get there? Most students start their college search by figuring out what school they are going to attend first; but before colleges are selected students must figure out their personalities, aptitudes, and how they work in order to figure out which type of career they would be best suitable for. Then students should look at colleges that will help them achieve that career. The Counselors will break down the process to make this time less difficult and overwhelming.

Here is what our Counselors will help with:

  • Offer career and goal counseling
  • Assist students in planning career options
  • Assist in course selection
  • Assist students in gathering selected college information
  • Assist students with resumes’ and cover letters
  • Review and consult students with essays
  • Aid in the appeal process with financial award letters
  • Provide group workshops discussing various topics
  • Prepare students for college interviews

The career and college process is the student’s responsibility, and our counselors are here to assist in any way we can to make it less overwhelming.
